Darnell Warren King, was born in Brooklyn NY, on October 11th, 1984 in Kings county. He is most known in the entertainment world as DKING. The artist, producer, model, actor and tv personality rise to fame was not overnight but he became famous for his role in B.E.T’s reality series, Hustle in Brooklyn. Mr. King is also the CEO and founder of Brick House Studios, one of the hottest recording studios in New York City. DKING has worked with artist such as Steve Aoki, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, French Montana, Neyo, Fabolous, Diddy, Ma$e to name few and produced Manolo Rose’s single “I Get Money”, for Roc Nation, Universal/Def Jam Records.

The humble beginnings of DKING’s Brick House Studios started in his bedroom turned recording studio, where he started to acquire the skills to self produce mix and master his own music. Every one who was a rapper in King’s neighborhood would come to his house to record. Brick House quickly started to gain notoriety because of King’s musical sense and attracted local artist turned stars such as Lil Mama and Maino to name a few. After out growing his room, DKING eventually landed a gig in the film center at Electric Feel Studios. There he continued perfecting his craft and began engineering for producers Neo The Matrix, Corte Ellis, artist Bridgette Kelly, Cory Gunz, Nick Canon and Bad Boy Legend Ma$e. DKING then became Ma$e’s personal engineer/ producer and in that same year engineered his first radio record. This record would turn out to be French Montana’s “In a New York Minute” featuring Jaka Kiss & Ma$e. A few years later DKing would also engineer a slew of records for Ma$e like Steve Aoki’s “4 Million, Eric Bellingers “Not A love song”, Troy Ave’s “Your Style” ft T.I.P and Puff Diddy. Rick Ross’s “Supreme” and the ferocious Cam’Ron diss track, “The Oracle” which was recorded at Brick House Studios.

After 7 + years of working with Ma$e, in 2016 DKING eventually would take on the role as his road manager on the Bad Boy Reunion tour. Taking care of the day to day artist operations and logistics. After excelling in the field and completing of the tour DKING refocused his energy into building the new Brick House Studios a 2 floor facility, now located in Queens.
